Evaluation of Evidence-Based Practices in Online Learning

The Wyoming Distance Education Consortia (WyDEC) proudly announces the 10th Annual WyDEC Distance Education Conference. The 2010 conference is supported by the Wyoming Community College Commission and each year is hosted by one of the seven Wyoming Community Colleges. This year's conference will be hosted by Sheridan College in Sheridan, Wyoming. The event has a tradition of sharing innovative ideas and practices for enhancing teaching and learning at a distance as well as uses of emerging technologies that support traditional campus-based courses.

Join us for this exciting professional development opportunity May 24-26, 2010.

Conference objectives:

  • Examine key elements of best practices in teaching and learning at a distance
  • Share information about new and emerging learning technologies
  • Discuss current trends and developments in Distance Education
  • Facilitate networking opportunities
